Wat Arun (Temple of Dawn)

Wat Arun (photo left) is located on the shores of the busy Chao Phraya River that courses through the City of Angels (Bangkok or Krung Thep as it is known to the locals).  Bangkok offers the visitor many attractions, including the Grand Palace complex, where Wat Pho is located.  Wat Pho (photo below) is the temple where the Ancient Art of Thai Massage has been taught for many years.  In Bangkok one can also view and be amazed at a 5.5 ton gold statue of Buddha, which had previously been on display in a room that was too small to accomodate the increasing number of visitors.  The golden Buddha is now found in a much larger room at Wat Traimitr Wittayaram (see YouTube "English#The Largest Golden Buddha image in The World").

Ajarn Chock organizes educational tours to Thailand where the primary purpose is for individuals to become certified in one or more levels of Thai Yoga Bodywork through the TMC school.  As a native of Thailand Ajarn Chock is familiar with Thai ways, language, history and local attractions.  Whether your interest, while learning Thai Yoga Bodywork, is to combine learning with getting to know Thailand and the natural beauty found there, Ajarn Chock can make that happen.  Instruction can happen anywhere without taking anything away from your learning the best techniques possible.

Thai Edu-Tours are limited to a maximum of 8 students for each trip.  In one week's time students can complete requirements for any one of three TMC Certification Levels (30 hours each), while at the same time touring Thailand's main attractions.  Whether in the Northern provinces, at the city of Chiang Mai, or in the Central Region, in the capital city of Bangkok, or the Southern provinces with their majestic sandstone cliffs and the oldest tropical forest in South East Asia, to the sandy beaches and turquoise waters of the Andman Sea. Tours of the popular islands of Koh Phuket, Koh Phi-Phi and Koh Lanta are also possible.  In the South you can also enjoy a healing dip, for a nominal fee, in one of many hot mineral springs found throughout the area.
